Esthetics means a lot of different things . To the eye of the esthetic/restorative dentist it can be form, shade, gingival architectural balance and must always be function. In this case the patient presented with the desire to have a more attractive smile. Her self evaluation included teeth that were in need of shade enhancement and a concern about “not being able to see enough of her teeth when she smiled or when her lips were at rest.”
