In 1997 Dr. Trent W. Smallwood founded the Centre for Contemporary Dental Concepts in Tempe, Arizona. An International Speaker, Dr. Smallwood has spoken at Prestigious Venues such as the ADA, AACD, ACE, London Society, India, and throughout the country at state conventions. He is also a Member of the Review Board for the AACD Journal. In 2005 Dr. Smallwood Co-created Unique Dental Group, specializing in advance concept Restorations, progressive training for doctors emphasizing Aesthetic Excellence and Practice Management. Along with consulting and teaching with major dental manufacturers, dental laboratories, and his peers, Dr. Smallwood currently teaches with the prestigious Hornbrook Group (A live patient hands-on course that teaches doctors how to build beautiful smiles on their own patients) and in 2003 was named the co-Director of the Advanced Posterior Program within this illustrious group. Dr. Smallwood teaches numerous courses at his office and internationally for other dentists to learn the most contemporary concepts in today’s dentistry. In 1997 he was honored, and awarded, for excellence in Prosthodontics and in 2005 became the Official Dentist of the Miss Arizona USA and Miss Arizona Organizations.
