Dr. Olson is a 1983 graduate of The Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, Dental School, University of Maryland. He graduated with honors in prosthodontics and endodontics and was elected by the school\\\'s faculty to “Who\\\'s Who” among dental students. Dr. Olson is one of approximately 300 dental professionals internationally to achieve Accreditation status in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. In addition, Dr. Olson has achieved the AACD\\\'s highest credentialing honor by becoming the 39th member awarded Fellowship in the Academy. He was further honored by the Academy when asked to serve as a consultant and examiner for the Accreditation process, is a fellowship examiner and is a past Chairman of Accreditation. He currently serves on the American Board of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Olson received his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1999 and was four times named “one of the metropolitan area\\\'s top general dentists” by the Washingtonian Magazine. He was also named “one of the top cosmetic dentists” by the Washingtonian and has been selected by his peers as one of the “Best Dentists in America.”
Dr. Olson\\\'s membership and active participation in the American Dental Association (ADA), Maryland State Dental Association (MSDA) and the Patuxent Dental Society (PDS) further emphasizes his commitment to excellence. He has lectured, been published and won a photography award for his work in the field of cosmetic dentistry. He also volunteers with the State of Maryland\\\'s Donated Dental Service and the AACD\\\'s Give Back a Smile Program.
