Polishing procedures for composite

All right. The second one is finished and we're going to place the last restoration in the same fashion exactly. So we'll put our matrix band in place and put our wedge in place and let's have the ring one more time. Beautiful. Explorer.

So we do exactly the same procedure on each of these teeth. Beautiful. And again, we're going to use total-etch. And we'll put the phosphoric acid just for 10 seconds and we will rinse. And then we will add our bonding agent. Suction. And light cure.

Same technique flowable base. Once again to prevent the composite from curing we will turn the overhead lights off. All right. All the same procedures here. So we've finished all three. Notice they have a really, real tight contact with that matrix system and we're going to use an enhanced cup just to smooth the surfaces a little more.

And then we'll finish the polish with a compo brush again by Brasseler. Dr. Nash will continue to polish, check the bite and we can see our final result. Here's our final result. All three restorations just finished and you can see the esthetics of this material is just terrific. And as I was finishing it I know it is extremely hard so I'm confident that these restorations are going to be here a long time. We had contacts and radiographically you'll see we have extremely good marginal adaptation and I'm extremely happy with these restorations.
